■a ® ciw WHO: The Art Club consisted of 21 members: Ten seniors, 9 juniors, and 2 sophomores. WHAT: The Art Club promotes interest in the fine arts and raises money to purchase permanent equipment for the art department, field trips, and art shows. WHY: The Art Club is for those students interested in visual art and also interested in being involved in a school activity. WHEN: Meetings are held the last Tuesday of each month. WHERE: Meetings are held in the art room. 20 Art Qub

3€ C % Cl®® TO; The DECA Club consisted of 33 members: Eleven seniors and 22 juniors. WHAT: DECA stands for Distributive Education Club of America. It is an organization for Marketing Education students. DECA provides members the opportunity to develop individual growth and leadership qualities. It was first organized at a state level in 1944. WHY: DECA is the only youth organization operated through public schools to attract people to careers in marketing and distribution. It offers each member the opportunity to participate in many activities designed to teach cooperation and leadership through competition in events, civic responsibility, professional conferences, and community awareness. WHEN: Meetings are held during class time throughout the year. Competitions are held in November, January, and March with nationals in April. WHERE: Meetings are usually held in school. Other activities are held wherever appropriate. 1 22 DECA Club
