FRESHIVHIN CLASS Eighty-eight of us were enrolled at the beginning of the school year, but several more pupils have joined our happy family. Miss Bergman and Mr. Taylor were our sponsors until Miss Bergman took over Mr. Cooperrider's place as head of the sophomores. At the beginning oi the second semester Miss Bergman was returned to us. Our class chose Donald Wedge, president, Mildred Pahl, vice-president: Barbara Mulholland, secretary, and Ioyce Put- nam, treasurer. We are under Mr. Laird's remarkable supervision. For our class officers we elected the following: president, Billy Yinglingg secretary-treasurer, Willard Boyce. news reporter, Ianet Putnamg and student council members, Betty Rex and Horace Newhard. We presented our chapel program entitled Dr. Speech's Serum. On December 21, we had a Christmas party in the cafeteria and a good time was enjoyed by all who attended. We are looking forward to the eighth grade state test in April. As our school year draws to a close, we are looking ahead to next September when we shall at last take our place in the high school proper.
