We've nimed to please, so during football season our boys won fume and our cheer lenders pepped the crowd. Basket hnll didn't leave us in the shade either. By our persistent efforts at candy selling we made plans for the Junior-Senior banquet,but were forfeited when the school closed. We came singing through in the Cleo Clubs and we're rather proud of e successful year. We remain, Jolly Juniors Virginia Snobsrger SOPHOMOHE CLASS HISTCRY On the twelfth of September we stumbled into Room 18 and there found Mr. Kingsmore as our Home Room teacher. After be- coming somewhat settled he advised us to elect efficers so that we might be better organized. We elected Delcle Smith,presidentg Edgar Keller, vice-prcsidentg Harriet Criger,secretary-treasurer. As another representative to the Student Council, we appointed Mnxine Remo. We were also represented in thc Glee Clubs, Bend, and Orcktstrn. We feel that we have spent n most profitable, ns well as enjoyable year. In the election of officers, Vincent Brown becnme president,Mdr- jorie Donelson, vice-president, Rosemary Kremer, secrctsry-tren- surer, end Margaret Dow and Gaylord Patterson, student government represcntctives. Wo were well represented in such activities ns the bend, orchestra, glee clubs, football and hnskctbnll es For- est Myers end Gnylord Patterson played on the first team. Jeanne Wenner and Morqnret Dow ere the new drum majors of the band. For entertainment wc decided to attend the High School party. when we nod half completed our journey, we came egninst n large rock culled Semester Exdminotions. I think most of us enjoyed our first year in High School and ore looking forwnrd to the dey when we muy become Sophomoros.
