I hear she has been made a reaular member of the staff I was cauqht for speedrnq 1n Cardlnqton the other day but I wasnt flned You see the new constable happens to be Eugene Phllbrook I buy all my food suppl1es at Peoples Food Shoppe because Berneta DeLong IS the new owner Roger Dav1s had a very successful season playlna halfback for the Cleveland Browns I have been lrstenmq to the operas on Sunday afternoons because classmate Norma Carter IS s1nq1nq w1th the top opera compan1es Betty Mosher has also been successful 1n the mus1c world She IS teachmq mus1c at Oh1o State We hear qu1te a lot about Fulton these days now that Dlck Blakely IS mayor You remember the town of Sparta and how we used to beat them playlnq basketball? Don Kelley has been coachmq there for the past two years l hear the Cleveland Ind1ans have a new p1tcher for the comma season He IS Brad Landon In the Olymplcs th1s year we d1d very well Who do you thmk won the 1ce skatmq t1tle'? C lass Prophecy The Kmq s Ranch has been sold and the Paul Couts fam1ly w1ll soon be mov1ng to Texas because Paul 1S the new owner The Sunday papers have come out w1th a new cartoon f1gure wh1ch was created by Ioanne Fncke The grade chlldren have been havmg a b1g t1me Wllh the1r favonte cowboy hero He v1s1ted our school and gave an assembly program He IS Frank H1mler I took a week end tr1p to New York not so long ago When I stepped off the traxn and 1nto a taxl who should be my dr1ver but our old pal Velma Flnk I had dlnner one evenxng at the Stork Club wh1ch IS now owned by Bob Coleman The Vern1e He1ml1ch band was playmg there I went to a fash1on show and lanet Cherrlng ton was there modelmg all the Pans creatlons for Powers I learned that Anne H111 1S mak1ng herself a name by produclng some of Broadway s great est plays When I was leav1ng the Waldorf Astona Hotel to go home I went 1nto the managers off1ce for some 1nformat1on To my surpr1se I found htm to be a her Martha Shffler I bought a New York Herald to read on the tram and r1ght on the front page was Manlyn Hert the new ed1tor1n chlef I also happened to be r1d1ng on Dan Foster s rallroad the New York Central In the pol1t1cal wor d only two of our class mates have entered o far Betty McGraw IS Ohlo s f1rst woman governor and Nlles Hack IS the youngest v1cepres1dent the Umted States has ever had He IS workmg for Presldent Lyman S Hert Melv1n Maceyko has f1nally found h1s pos1 tlon 1n l1fe He was assrgned warden of the Smg Smg Inst1tut1on Bob Mathews has f1nally worked up to the top from grease monkey to pres1dent of General Motors The Borden s M1lk Company has been pro duclng some h1gh powered m1lk lately and of course everyone has been buymg 1t smce I1m Beatty has become company presrdent Myron Bemhart won the world champ1onsh1p wrestl1ng belt and IS now ret1red 1n Flonda Albert E1nste1n has been 1ll for some tlme so hls top ass1stant Harold Se1f has been pretty We had qulte a f1re 1n Card1ngton last nlght One of I1m Lonmer s G G bombs blew up but Card1ngton 1S st1ll on the map Lots Llpker owns the Wheel of Fortune nlght club out 1n Las Vegas How IS your Job as pol1ce woman 1n San Franc1sco cornmg along?
