During a crucial time-out, anticipation and anxiety are reflectecl on the faces of coaches and players. ff' C V ' 9 Basketball ,ln Sports require enthusiasm, the ability to perform, and team Work from all Who participate. On the courts, the cagers prov- ed that time and energy can make a Winning season. The biggest victory on the schedule came when the Cardi- nals defeated Waite by a score of 60-49. Prior to the upset, the Indians had been rated second in the city. The final tally became 9-9 after the Red and Black lost heartbreakers to Woodward, Clay, and Tiffin Calvert. Senior Forward lack Parsil received Honorable Mention on the Northwestern Ohio All- Star Basketball Team. He Was named Most Valuable Player at the Basketball Banquet and holds the school record average of 21 points per game. The In- spirational Awarcl went to Sen- ior Rick Dunn, while Sopho- more Frank Zielinski received the Scholar Athlete Awarcl.
