Vudy Tarjanyi, Essence Edito,-.in-Chief. Mark Packo, Existence Editor-in-Chief. Publications Along the lines of communi- cation, the Written word and printed picture came to Stritch students in various forms. From room 119 and the journalism classes came the newspaper and yearbook. From the Math De- partment came The Thinker,', a short paper Written and print- ed by math students for math students. Every third Friday the school newspaper, Essence, was dis- tributed to subscribers. Judy Tarjanyi, editor-in-chief, and her staff changed and improved type and layouts in order to provide a more interesting and attractive paper. Existence ,69 was the work of Mark Packo, editor-in-chief, and his intrepid crew. In striving for originality and technical quality, they set and met high standards for creative layouts and photography. 75
