HACTID A n NVOLVEME T. . Much to their relief, the stu- dents found that school was not all grind, grind, grind. When the last bell rang they rushed into the halls and hur- ried to . . . home? a job? Sometimes. But other activities crowded their way onto a schedule al- ready filled with books, home- work, exams, and term papers. Homecoming 1969 produced one happy queen, a gridiron victory, and a night of enchant- ment in the setting of the 50th state. One of the larger projects during the year was the Har- vest Festival, on which many parents, students, and faculty worked for weeks in order to make it a success. The musical, South Pacificf, was a combined effort of ad- visors, cast, and crews. Un- known avenues of drama had heen explored and conquered by curtain time opening night. Action and involvement made the year great for all who made the most of it.
