The Church kept changing. in '66. It was becoming a new Church, a modern one. You sensed these changes as you celebrated the Liturgy each week. Your chapel was barely five years old - and this year it changed. The altar was turned so you could see the actions of the priest and participate more easily. The communion rail disappeared. You no longer knelt to receioeg you now stood-people and altar came closer together. The Mass changed also in other ways. You now placed your own host in the ciborium and you carried the ' bread and wine to the priest as your part in the sacriyice. You sang more and you sang together as a unit. You became part of the great whole-You and God. And people were asking, Is God dead? And Up
