. . . And Upbeals Your year was yilled with fast-moving excite- ment. It was the year of the scene and you were making it. The dances you did were the Jerk, the Monkey, the Wooly-Bully-all these and many more were your dances. You came to your own dances but also went to all the ones in the area. Clayhops and S.E.R.A. could be seen dotted with you, Stritch students. After the dances, everyone crowded to Frisch's and Mac- Donald's. Cars could constantly be seen streaming through these hangouts and yours was always among them. When nothing else was happening, you held parties. The most popular form was the open-house. They were never fancy just casual and a real panic! You held picnics, went tobogganing, canoeing, and horse- hackriding. Anything that was wild and uinsanelyv different- as long as it turned you on. You kept a fantastic pace and lived a thrilling year, You never stopped and you never will!

Your day didn't end with the three o'clock bell. Your life was filled with millions of events outside the confines of Stritch. The headlines of the year agected you because t ey were about you. The year held both smiles and frowns, and each was a part of you and your existence. Viet Nam is a small country, almost halfway around the world. Yet it affected you. It meant a change to al- most all of you. There was a war and you were part of it. You had friends there and many of you knew that it wouldn't be long be- fore you were there too.
