The vocal department at Ritter High School partici- Jates in many activities during the year. The chorus per- formed for Ritter's 1973 Christmas concert and the chil- :lren's concert. For the first time the chorus did a :horeographed song during the basketball homecoming activities. Of the many solos and ensembles which performed in the city solo ensemble contest, almost all received first place ratings. A girls' group consisting of Lisa Baker, Helen Cross, Becky Hoff, Susie Patterson, jackie Richey, Meg Sperry, and the vocal solo of Sheryl loyner were iudged excellent enough to perform at the state contest vvhere they received first place medals.
