SPANISH CLUB .S 'K hiwhniiir 1, - 3' FRENC CLUB ff! The Spanish Club reinforces the classroom learning situation by puttin the Spanish language and culture into practice. The Club has a Spanis Day. Tacos are served for lunch and the Spanish-speaking student speak only Spanish during lunch, independent studies and in the corr. dors. The club learns Spanish Christmas carols and the customs of th los GSDBITIOIGSH during the holidays. The club also joins the French Clu in preparing the International Dinner. Ritter performed its third musical in Marion College auditorium before an appreciative audience. The plot of Brigadoon concerns two hunters, Greg Roebuck and Phil Kern, who chance upon a small Scott- ish town. After spending a day in the town, they return to New York. lt is then that Greg realizes he is in love with Lisa Baker, a young girl in Brigadoon. Because of a miracle that occurred to the citizens of the town, Greg cannot see Lisa again. Nevertheless, he returns in order to prove this is really true but she is gone. Because of his great love for her, however, the town of Brigadoon reappears and Greg and Lisa unite to spend their lives together. 85
