International Dinner: Friendly Get-Together For the foreign language department, the biggest bash of the year is always the International Dinner, where one is served special dishes native to each country rep- resented. It is ever-popular with both the students and their parents. The planning for the dinner takes several weeks, and almost three days for the actual cooking and decorating. However, volunteers are not hard to find. Everyone likes to pitch in and help because the gay chatter and spirit puts them in a light-hearted mood. But the majority of credit for our successful dinners must go, of course, to Mr. Wyeth and Mrs. Staddon, heads of the French Department; and to Mrs. Bieberich, head of the Spanish Department, for their expert guidance and hearty efforts. Thanks must also be given to Mr. Staddon who worked hard all day, and did a superb job of pouring the wine. Adding music to the Bischoff, Ray ' s brothel Bob Cole and Joe Cochran dig into the scrumptious Spanish meal Paula Kinley has just served them. short breather after singing Sponish folk songs were lleon Maria Granda, Lucy Pineras, Marianne Nyikos and Eileen Land. Dick Hester, Jim Roebuck and Mrs. Bieberich set up displays and decorate tables for the dinner. Vicki Gootee, Alice Miller, Mrs. Staddon, and Margaret White dish out servings of the Boeuf Bourgogne they have prepared. Who ' s this we catch working in the kitchen? Might it be Bill Lewis?

French Liturgy Shared For a new school activity this year, Mr. Wyeth of the French Department put on a special mass spoken entirely in French. Anyone who wished to attend was welcome and, of course, Ritter ' s French stu- dents made up most of the congregation. Father Stephen Happel led the Mass, and Rick Brodnick and Randy Flajs were the servers.
