Master of ceremonies, Mike Rafcliff portrayed an old actor whose memories of the theater were brought to life, on stage, as the dif- ferent scenes. The darkened wings create a murky backdrop for the mystifyini workings of lighting crew members Jeff Roach and Tom Riley. Othe lighting crew members were Mike Gathman and Joe DeFabis. Student director, Tanya Domi, calms opening night jitters moments before Cabaret and Oklahoma go on V ;, . .

Bob Dean (leff) as King Arthur, Bob Trauner as Lancelot, and Diane Kurzawa as Guenevere execute a moving presentation that helped goii Best Scene award for Camelot from the faculty judges. Congratulations, Mr. H! ' Take It from the Top ' Wins Standing Ovations Mrs. Connie Hagist (center) worked tirelessly as faculty director of ' Take It From the Top. Behind Mrs. Hagist, Dove Richey reflects the organized manner of the last few rehearsals. From its high kicking opening scenes to the flag- waving grand finale, Take It From the Top, Ritter ' s first musical, was acclaimed as an exciting evening of entertainment by audience, cast, and crew. Mrs. Connie Hagist, who first conceived the idea of combining scenes from thirteen different Broadway musicals, was assisted by Mrs. Sherri Scott, Miss Tina Peck, Mr. Duffy Hagist, and Mr. Ted Hinkle in directing over 150 Ritter students, who took port in the musical. Despite grumblings over late rehearsal hours, rushed meals, and missing costumes, the general comment after the final performance was Let ' s do it again!

Junior Barb Polak received the Best Actress Award for her performance OS Cockney flower peddler, Eliza Doolittle, from My Fair Lady. The Camelot singers stand resolutely, as directed by their coach. Miss Tina Peck. In this scene from Bye, Bye, Birdie, Susie Caldwell, Mary Jo Gude and Cathy Caldwell tie up the telephone lines while Dick Hester trie to get through. Despite male protests, the makeup crew worked deftly to apply just that right touch of rouge or mascara. Below, Marianne Nyikos readies Bob Dean for Oklahoma.
