They must also a first in their division in state The Ritter Singers have had an active year: performing in two major school pro- ductions, touring hospitals, caroling, etc. Perhaps this explains the group ' s particular closeness.

The concert band is Ritter ' s most serious musical group. But liling when they were informed of 3n competition! you con bet they we their first place in state di ' Somehow Ritter ' s marching band came up with five smashing half time shows — even during those hectic times when there were only two days to put it all together! This cooperative spirit enabled the group to represent Ritter well during appearances at gomes and competitions.

Ritter ' s corps members have shown themselves to be not only an asset to the band, but also a form of entertainment all the own. Patty Parshall, as head majorette, and Mrs. Connie Hagist designed their always-interesting routines. Performing both on stage and behind the scenes were corps officers: Anne Fisher, uniform manager; Mary Jo Gude, property manager; Patty Parshall, head majorette; Rhonda Price, assistant choreographer; and Sherry Barrett, business manager.
