Musicians Merit Awards, Applause, Approval! Music is a real focal point in today ' s world — especially with its innovations in sound and style. Ritter ' s music de- partment, in striving for that perfect note managed to entertain throughout the school year, while winning numerous awards in state-wide competition. The annual Christmas show had the largest audience ever this year, and the band ' s cooperation with ' Take It From The Top ' contributed to the fun and over-all success. Still somewhat incredulous over the concert band ' s first place division showing is Mr. Ted Hinkle, band director. Could it have been hi; flashy outfits that gave the little extra something to their per formances this year?! ' Candylond Revisited ' , a Christmos production involving the entire music department, offered a variety of singing, ballet, routines — even candy!
