Girls ' Soccer They took the good with the bad ABOVE: Sheila Cleary, sophomore, gets away without a foul as she trips her opponent while trying to get to the ball, LEFT: Kathy Mastics, senior, warms up before a game by shooting goals. I he 1980-81 girls ' soccer team had its ups and downs throughout the season. Their ability was seen in their winning record, but the lack of team togetherness was seen by the fact that six girls quit. Miss Evans was heard asking the team if they wanted to continue with the season? Although practices were very laxidasical, all the girls put a maximum amount of effort into the games. Playing football, dancing, or telling jokes were common practices, but the girls ' bruises, sweat, and dirty faces were signs that they put their whole heart into the game. The girls soccer team had a good time along with producing a winning season. 88 SPORTS
