Girls on the run !t. »IM vK Hour after hour, day after day, they ran miles through the heat or sometimes even during the rain. The girls ' cross-country teams demon- strated their ability and dedication with an eighth place team finish in the state of Florida and Jennifer Ash, senior, placed ninth. She said, The team worked the hardest that they ' ve ever worked before. We really fulfilled our potential. The participants were motivated for different reasons. Angle Dagros- sa, junior, ran because, It gets you in really good physical condition, while Peggy Curran, freshman, ran so she ' d have something to do after school. For whatever reason the girls ran, they proved themselves well and they all said they had a feeling of satisfaction when they finished a race.
