Key Club Service with a smile They were the students who served others, and according to the club ' s vice-president, senior Mike Melnyk, the Key Club provided an excellent opportunity for a young individual to become a leader and not a follower. Key Club projects included long hours at the book sale, fund-raising events for charity purposes, and car rallies just for fun. They were the students who set up chairs in the gym for masses, too. Since the club is a service organization, much of their time was spent raising money to help others in the community. For example, they donated money to the poor in Indiantown, reinforcing their motto that Caring is our way of life.
