We began to realize during our freshman year that a good Catholic would make a good citizen. That was our goal -- our democratic heritage. Through the study of Citizenship Education we learned about the formation of our country and the procedures that keep our government functioning smoothly, Then in our religion classes we applied Christian principles to civic duties.
