In this Bicentennial year, we are constantly reminded of our forefathers and their deeds. As stated by Lord Byron in 1821, The best prophet of the future is the past. We should all learn from and make use of the efforts of the patriots of the Revolution. They strove to make this country one founded on the principles of in- dependent thought and action. As the graduates make their plans for the future, they should remember that those heroes of the past have made this a land where they may pursue any ambition they desire. 8 . . .
