off Cardinal Community. MISS HUNTER has four guidance periods a day and teaches two English 12 classes. She gives advice to the students and answers their questions. Library Nearly all the students at Cardinal have at least one study hall a day. In this room are found all the references needed for any research work as well as magazines and fiction books for reading enjoyment. One unique feature of the study hall is a corner lounge equipped with comfortable chairs reserved for those who wish to relax and read. 12

of the students MRS. GOBBLE has two bookkeeping classes, shorthand, office practice, and typing. She also has a second semester study hall and a senior homeroom. Here Mrs. Gobble Is showing some of her students how to use the adding machine. MR. HARDEN teaches personal typing and drivers education. In addition he has a sophomore home- room and coaches wrestling. In this picture Mr. Harden Is giving a few typing pointers to his students. MRS. SHIVE teaches four English 10 classes, speech, and has two library periods a day. Four English students, Pat Carter, Linda Potts, Denny Durflinger, and Brent Roath, are working on diagrams.

Indispensable Staff Members The cooks at Cardinal put in a full day's work preparing the meals for the hungry students. These ladies, Mrs. Anna Parrett, Mrs. Della Osing, and Mrs. Naomi Kriegh, are shown preparing the next delicious meal. Our dependable janitor, John Damielle, has been here since Cardinal High School was opened. Over the years, he has faithfully kept the halls and rooms clean. 13
