With Brother Kieran as moderator, the club offers numerous opportunities to its members to acquire new skills and techniques in photographic Work. Most of their labors center around the photographing of Hayes' athletic and recrea- tional activities. A fully-equipped dark room is at the disposal of those boys who specialize in developing photos. Both the 'iCalendar and the Challenger staffs use the facilities of the Camera Club for their pictorial edorts. The Skating Club is one of the societies which puts emphasis on the social S k O t l n q life of the Hayesman. The club, consisting solely of seniors, makes arrangements J for skating parties which are held from time to time at the Fordham Skating Palace. Under Fr. Guido's competent direction, they act also as ushers at the G n d skating parties. D The Library Club, under the able direction of its moderator, Brother Leonard L I b rl G rl L4 Francis, endeavors to advance the cause of literature among the students at Hayes. Meetings are frequently held and the means of achieving this noble aim are , discussed. Club members maintain the school library and advise Hayesmen on C I U b S the use of its excellent facilities. The Business Club, moderated by Brother Bertrand, ' has a two-fold purpose, assisting the departments of the S e n I O P M G t h school which need its facilities and training members in the use of various business machines. Among other things the club makes surveys for the Guidance Department G n d and types reports and other data for the Athletic Depart- ment. The primary purpose of the Business Club is to B ' C I b acquaint members with business machines, such as add- U S I n e S S U S ing machines and calculators. Open only to seniors who T have a business subject, the club has weekly meetings on Monday.
