The Cast takes a bow at the end of the dress rehearsal. Cqrcmo cle Bergerac The Patricians, in presenting Rostandls Cyrano de Bergeracf' followed a tradition of line plays that includes such splendid productions as The Student Princev and c'Stalag 17. Frank Caltabiano gave a professional performance as the man who is tormented by a physical deformity. His rendition of Rostand's poetry was a prodigious feat of memory which some thought, before the production, was an impossibility for a high school student. He was ably supported by the rest of the cast, especially Mary Io Santangelo as Roxanne, Philip Mitchell as Christian and Frank Diaz as the Comte de Guiche. Father Conlan directed the production during weeks of re- hearsals, together with Student Director, Iohn Ogrodowczyk. The superb scenery was painted by Brother Mclnerney and Brother th 'fren nil? g'2fQ2Qtex neWS' L 6 Court Heathwood, with the designing done by Father Tiffany and Father Guido. Father Corrigan and his stagehands did a Wonderful job backstage. During the sell-out performances the audience was swiftly and courteously taken to their seats by our ushers under the management of Father Sullivan. The cast was well rewarded for their long hours of rehearsals, after school and on weekends, by the enthusiastic reception they received from all the four audiences. All the cast should be amply congratulated for their work and Hayesmen should be proud of such a group which added such distinction to our school. alt Se emS , have mjSSe500 logica e No, no, my own dear love, I love you not!
