Highlights of the season were a repeat championship in the Bronx-Manhattan-Westchester Division of Catholic High Schools, a second place in the City Catholics and a second place in the Private Schools Meets. During the course of the season Wilfred Storz estab- lished himself as the greatest cross-country runner in Hayes history by winning individual honors in both the Bronx-Manhattan-West chester and the City Catholics Meets.
