Muffy? 1 BILL BRADSHAW Pitcher .1 . - As the CALENDAR goes to press, the Varsi- ty Baseball team is tied with All Hallows for the championship of the Catholic High School Athletic Association League. With only one loss in league games Coach Krywycki and the members of the team are confident of taking the Bronx championship for the fifth succes- sive year. The clutch pitching of Bill Bradshaw and Ernie Ferraro and the sparkling play of the fielders have pulled us out of many a tight spot so far. After losing their opening games to Monroe and Columbus, the Varsity defeated All Hal- lows, Roosevelt, Manhattan Prep, St. Simon Stock and Fordham Prep successively. They lost, however, to Mt. St. Michael. Since then they have entered on a winning streak, defeat- ing Bronx High School of Science, Taft and Tolentine. Our deadline does not permit us to give the complete record, but we are confi- dent that the superb coaching of Mr. Krywycki will, as in the past, give us another excellent season.
