e es Au I Loyalty is the foundation of all school spirit be- cause it is loyalty to Alma Mater that prompts students to engage in the activities that make a school more than a combination of books and desks and students. At Hayes there are numerous extra- curricular activities which satisfy a diversity of de- sires and interests and make Hayes the outstanding school it is. The Symposium, sponsored by the K. B. S. and the C.S.M.C.g the Soiree Musicale, offered by the musical organizationg the Serata Italiana, given by the Italian Clubg the plays pre- sented by the Patriciansg Science Night, arranged by the science clubsg and all the other activities of the year receive the loyal support of Hayes men and enhance the reputation of Hayes because of the excellence of their performances.
