Interest in the doors and o sport was greater than ever before rd number of candidates and a reco answered the call for try-outs. Un- der the coaching hand of Brother Claude many first places were won in competition and records shat- ' ofthe tered. James Ryan, captain team, and John Willoughby who persevered through the pioneer days of track at Hayes, were well re- warded for their loyalty in the suc- cess they merited this year.
