Ro- mantic lovelies like Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Lovely to Look At from the Broadway production Roberta melted hearts as certainly as did the lovely ladies themselves resplendent in their prettiest pastels. The audi' ence from the waltz era enthusiastically ap- plauded a combined Glee Club-Orchestra ren- dition of A W.1ltz from Tschaikowskyk Sleeping Beauty, This artistic presentation exhibited the prouciency of the players, and their delightfully fresh interpretation of an eternal classic. Comedians Gallop, a novelty by Kabaleysky. a living Russian composer. balanced the program with a light touch of humor. To hear the Girls' Orchestra is to appreciatc the conducting of Mr. Vito La Nlonaca. the efforts ofthe religious and lay instructors ofthe Music Department, and the ability and industry of the girls themselves.
