In order to facilitate the transmission of thought. a comprehensive selection of courses in foreign languages. as well as our own. is presented to the student of Cardi- nal Dougherty High School. There is a vast valley between synonyms and Shake- speare. It is carefully explored in the four-year course of English grammar and literature. The intended re- sult is to give the student the ability to express himself in a clear, forceful and interesting manner.
