During last year's baseball season Cardinal Dougherty compiled a record of six L wins and two losses. In the Shaughnessy playoffs for the Catholic League championship. the Cardinals broke even, with one win and one loss. Unfor- h k' tunately this only rated second place. But when the ground thaws. C.D. will t e once again take aim on its first baseball championship. of diamonds Great events cast their shadow. Some of the Cardinal veterans choose sides for an intra-squad game in pre-season practice.
