The team was able to put together another short winning streak before we met the Walker Vikings in the Walker County Tournament. The team fought hard in the tournament, but lost again in an overtime game. The team again built a streak of wins and sent us into the Area Tournament on a high note. We began area play with a 16-4 record and having beat all area competition twice during the regular season. The Bulldogs struggled in the first area game, but played well enough to win. Area finals included Winfield and Carbon Hill. The team was more intense and captured the Area 8 Championship. The Bulldogs were defeated by Eutaw in the Sub-State Play-offs. We had a great crowd who cheered us on, but we lost to a heartbreaker on a last second shot- 82-80. Coach Bruce Handley 101
