It was lots of fun to play in the rhythmn band, and we felt very important when we made our first public appearance. Miss Story was also our second grade teacher. Miss Grant, now Mrs. P. W. Smith, was our third and fourth grade teacher. We shall never forget her interesting Story Hour immediate- ly after recess every day, and how much we enjoy- ed the plays she directed. In the fifth grade Mrs. De Loatche was our teacher. With Mrs. De Loatche as our sponsor, we enjoyed all the activities of the S. C. A. We learned how to conduct meetings and how to get up programs of our own. In the sixth grade our classes were divided between Mrs. De Loatche and Miss Matthews. We were with Miss Matthews again in the seventh grade. Mrs. Simmons, our librarian, organized a Library Club early in the session, and we really . «? • LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT I, James Manning Nicholson, will to Carolyn Burgess my wavy hair.
