VVhether it was sad, happy, or serious moments, we backed up our alma mater with pride. Holiday Cheer Brightens Faces Cheerful smiles and happy faces were welcomed to Caprock on Dec. 15 during the Christmas assembly. Children from the High Plains Chil- dren's Home and the Children's Cot- tage were met by their Student Coun- cil representatives and were intro- duced to each assigned homeroom. The student body of Caprock then met in the auditorium for the enter- tainment, receiving of gifts, and of course the arrival of Santa Claus and his elves. After the presents were opened Student Council President Nancy Brents presented the amount of money collected and the number of cans donated. We beat last year's totals by com- piling 5,049 cans and 351,342.00 for the children's fund.
