THE QENIORQ The senfor year represents the top step on the high school stairway. lt is the ultimate goal for each per- son who enters high school. For freshmen, senior status is a flag waving in the distance, promis- ing a challenging balance of work and achievement. For sophomores it is a prize which has drawn one year closer. Ituis no longer the re- mote possibility, it has become the attainable goal. For iuniors the word SENIOR is a clearly defined, tangible reward, iust a few short months ealization. For seniors, their final designa- tion reaped from twelve years of endeavor is a badge of accomplish- ment, a trophy which symbolizes their most coveted public school achievement. - The T968-69 La Saga proudly an- nounces The Seniors as its theme, not because it singles out a separate group, but because this theme rep- resents the ever beckoning summit which all high school students strive to attain. The work, the laugh- ter, the tears, the dreams, the small failures, and the large successes, all of these treasures which intertwine to weave the fabric of memories, go into the process from which seniors evolve.
