to Talented, Skilled Students The elective courses were designed to allow students to advance in a specialized area. l-lomemalcing students studied toods, clothing, interior decorating. consumer buying, time and money management, and home and tamily living. ln art classes, the students busied themselves with pottery malcing, sculpting, and wood carving. The applied electives included choir, band, orchestra, theory, auto- mechanics, woodworking, pre-engin- eering, mechanical drawing, and driver's training. Bible students learned the history ot the Bible. They were taught the basics ot the Hebrew and Greek languages. Approximately twenty students were en- rolled in the Bible class.
