The Seagull Gossip, Soquel School's paper, was first edited in the winter of 1946 by Mr. Medlen's seventh grade. The name was picked in a contest sponsored by the Spquel Student Body. The winning entry was submitted by Jack O'Conf1or. This year the paper was published by Mrs. Peake's seventh and eighth grades. The first edition for this term came out in early October. The Seagull Gossip was scheduled to appear every two weeks.
