Numerous business courses are offered in a wide variety of fields to all students. Above, Mrs. Carole Egleston, typing and business math instructor, takes time out from her class schedule to have her picture made for the yearbook. Right, .lack Biggs, who is in charge of stage craft and visual aids, tests audio visual equipment to make sure it is kept in tip-top shape. Left, Mrs. Joy Rupp, business machines teacher, in an effort to better explain the mechanics of an adding machine, displays the equipment to the class. Teachers stress high professional standards through expansion Professionalism reigned among faculty mem- bers as they supported national, state, and local organizations, by attending committee meetings. One of these local organizations, the Oklahoma City Education Association operated an office and hired a secretarial staff. Obiective number one was improving teaching conditions. The annual faculty picnic served as a casual get-together of old friends for the teachers. Many were found deep in concentration with competitive chess and checker games while other teachers fished and boated. Weekend trips to the lake and summer vaca- tions helped rest bodies and refresh minds.
