V. Irwin returned as assistant prin- cipal in charge of curriculum. With an enrollment that rose to 2,200 at dif- ferent times during the year, the three adminis- trators with Mr. C. B. Breithaupt, principal, at the helm, and Mr. Sam Clifton, assistant in charge of discipline, found their challenge accelerated. CH's Estes heads board, city superintendent serves third year ln his third year as superintendent of schools, Dr. Bill Lillard administered affairs for the school system which tallied 74,729 students. Working with Dr. Lillard and representing the Capitol Hill area as president ot the school board was long-time board member Foster Estes. Counselors Mildred Chase, Della Schooling, O. R.
