As an old saying goes, Variety is the spice of life, and there certainly is a large variety of activities to spice up the life of a CHHS student. The year's activities really began when the pep clubs started pledging. Then the football season got under way with pep assemblies, bonfires, and shaker parties. The annual Chieftain Capers show was held in November this year for the first time. The Christmas season was ushered in with the KRKC Christmas dance, the first formal one of the year and also one of the largest. Other sport seasons came and went with more pep assemblies, leaving Capitol Hill with many victories. Then finally came the Junior-Senior prom, all the other senior activities, and graduation.
