Sophomore Class SOPHOMORE HISTORY Large and Growing seems to have been the motto of the sophomore class for the beginning enrollment of five hundred has steadily increased throughout the school year. From this large group was chosen the boys' debate team for the schoolg one of the members, Curt Shadrick, tried out and was given a place on the team while he yet was a 9A. J. F. Malone filled his place as president so well during the first semester that he l was chosen to succeed himself. l Under the sponsorship of Ruth Woodson and Bill Haller, the class has made notice- able progress. A skating party on March 13 proved to be the activity that went far toward uni- fying the class. The future looks bright for the sophomore class, and present records reveal a future class of most illustrious students. I Eighteen I
