The Club grew from 36 to 56 members, which added a new dimension to the singing. This year's theme was I Sing of Life , and they did exactly that, from the time school started with a command performance at the memorial service of Dr. Harold Yochum, to major concerts in Novem- ber, February, and May, and a special presentation at graduation. The Glee Club went on an extensive winter tour of the Midwest with concerts in such places as Indianapolis, St. Louis, and Chicago. The 1975 Glee Club album was recorded at the Unitarian Church of Evanston, III. There was also a weekend concert tour in the spring, and a special appearance at the National Orff- Schulwerk Convention in Pittsburgh. This year marked a first when the Glee Club was invited to sing for the 8,000 attending the American Lutheran Church National Convention in October. The Club received a standing ovation and a personal thank-you from church president. Dr. David Preus. As always, the Glee Club presented the last Vespers service in the Worship Center, and all concerts were under the direction of nationally known choral conductor, Avon Gillespie. OFFICERS Pres. There have also been ser- vice and money making projects and numerous social activities. In- stead of building a float for homecoming, Pi Phi Epsilon donated the money that one would have cost to a charitable cause. Like true sis- ters, those of this sisterhood are all unique, but their common bond of love and friendship ties them closely to each other. Their advisor is Flossie Mitchell, and they can be identified by their colors of green and white.
