Some of the signs reveal their own message, som may require some thought on the part of the readci There is no doubt that Capital University is in th process of change and trying to become more inter grated into the world. With the influx of change ha come new problems and new issues. Hopefully, w can highlight them within this yearbook.

A simple walk around our campus reveals ihe validity of the claim that signs are ingrained in life style. During Homecoming, the Women's dorms had competition for the best decorated door consistent with the theme of nations and passports. A cheerful greeting awaits the casual customer at the information desk. The books- tore with its commercialism, offers signs, arrows, posters, all of which leap out from their walls. The Alumni Gym also has its collection of metal “signs , which have been won over the years by students who have excelled in athletics while at Capital. These are but a few of the more obvious signs upon our campus. 3
