Spring Sports Awards Banquet After the awarding of all the presentation from the coaches of the spring sports events, special recognition was given to certain individuals. Joe Jacobus, was elected as the junior athlete for this year. Don Kalb was designed senior athlete for his participation in basketball. Jeff Wensel re- ceived the Man of the Year Award. Senior Beer Blast As a farewell to the campus, the senior class offi- cers sponsored a campus wide beer blast which was free only to seniors. The festivities could be heard all around campus. In spite of final assignments, students came out to join in. The lap was loose, and the band was great. It was a different way for the senior class officers to disperse their funds which are budgeted from the University. 27 ’At
