The time comes for many students to relax and set aside their textbooks. The bottom half of the page demonstrates the various poses and shapes that some students lake in order to sneak a few moments of rack between chapters. Signs .. . Christ moving across the campus and relaxation The top half illustrates the worldwide trend confront- ing the world. Many people have allowed Christ to he confined to a pious sanctuary and visit him only on Sundays or perhaps just on holidays. However, a substantial portion of college-age people across our nation and other nations have discover the joy that can result by acknowledging the sonship of Jesus Christ. Today's youth arc not afraid to speak up any longer to a world that has for thousands of years has attempted to “go it alone. A world plagued by wars, famine, greed, and violence needs more than a Sun- day-religion . The complaints by outsiders on these youth, even on our campus, is that they themselves are too pious and aloof of others. Constructively though, after all arguemenls are heard, no one can doubt that more and more people are perhaps for the first time rethinking their faith and their life to God. These are the REAL SIGNS of this w orld, life which raises the questions of existence, requires that you and 1 seek the TRUTH. Signs do take different shapes, serve different purposes, and other different messages. They arc a part of our life, particularly at Cap’s campus.

Capital students still find time in their busy schedules to buckle down to the academics of University living. The classroom, lounges, even the great outdoors provide ample ways of accomplishing the tasks of meeting course requirements. Many students give the impression that college life is just social gatherings and parties. Really, that image has departed many years ago. Sure, social life is enhanced by attending an University. However, the first concern for many, many students is the studying which is necessary in developing a proficiency in their particular area of study. This may take different students different times in meeting their obligations. Some rela- tively short periods will suffice, others may take consid- erably more time and research. With the adoption of the new curriculum for next year students, greater flexibility and greater personal interest can be taken by each and every student if he chooses the Bachelor of General Studies degree.
