MEES HALL is the center of music, tiood and had, on the Capital campus. Students fill its classrooms, studios, and practice rooms to capacity while daily chapel services, special programs, and concerts arc held in its spacious auditorium. CHAPEL TIME RECITATION HALL, as its name so aptly suggests, is the building where most Cap students have their classes. From its lower, the traditional vic- tory bell rings out the news of Cap athletic triumphs.

SCHENCK DIVINITY HALL is tin- home of our seminary anil as such boasts of a chattel ami classrooms for its students. Its dormitory houses over one hundred seminary anti college men. The unii ue feature of D. II., however, is the chimes which ring out the {Hissing hours. Versatility is the word best describing I l-IIMAN HAI I . It serves principally as a dormitory for underclass women students and as home for most of the administrative offices. However, it also contains the clinic, news bureau, dorm store, mail boxes, print shop, ami several class- rooms.

At TROUTMAN-ACKERMAN HALL, com monly called siris' dorm, live over one hundred upper-class women. In its cafeteria several hundred hungry upperclassmen arc fed every day. In addition, the office of the Dean of Women and the girls' gymnasium are located here. With limited and inadequate facilities imposed by old age, LEONARD SCII:i Ch IIAI.L continues to serve Capital University. This building, now housing the chemistry and physics departments, will soon be replaced by a new building in which all the natural sciences will be located. [9] As an emergency measure to relieve the acute housing shortage this year, five former Army BARRACKS have been set up on campus. These tem- porary units each house sixteen fellows.
