What do I think of Capital High this year? Well, being a frosh has very high and very low points. The high points are meeting new people and getting different challenges than in middle school. Everything being new is both exciting and sometimes embarrassing. A freshman 's bad points are quite obvious. So far this year l've been done up in lipstick twice, locked in the girls' bathroom twice, thrown in a garbage can, and constantly harassed by upper classmen. The good points have far outweighed the bad, especially for me, because I had the chance as class president to contribute to the school and I hope I can do more of that in the future. -- Sean Padget. We've seen many successes at Capital. In no one area, though, has complete perfection been achieved. This fact alone, should inspire all to strive for excellence. Let the pursuit of this, light our way into the future, both as stu- dents at Capital and beyond. - Eric Perkun- der L I feel that this has been Capital 's most pro- ductive year yet, governmental or otherwise. Not only has the student body willingly partici- pated in school impro vement projects, like the amphitheatre, they have also contributed a feel- ing of good nature toward their government and student representatives. I believe that the sense of unity between the classes and in the classes has blossomed, and the bond between the grades has strengthened. lt's been a good year. - Ken McNeil My senior year here at Capital has been a period of learning and a time of change. I have experienced as much in the past year as I did in all of my previous years put together. As presi- dent ofthe class of '81, I have had the unique and rewarding experience of working closely with many of this years seniors. We have had good times as well as bad times, but I hope most us will remember the fun we had this year, and forget the disappointing times. Hopefully, many of the friendships that have been made with students and faculty during the past few years will remain strong over the years. Thank you all and good luck! - Mark Evans
