Schacht turns his opponent over. QW! Mike Hansen talks to Coach Williams. The 1980-1981 J. V. Wrestling team had many young wrestlers and improved much throughout the season. They ended the season with a 6-5 win loss record, led by freshman Scott Near who received the Most Outstanding J. V. WrestIer award. Scott Near had the most takedowns with 23 and tied with Craig Keifer for the most escapes with 6. Mike Mulligan led the team in reversals with 13 and near-- falls with 10. Steve Bricker and Pat Waring led the team in pins with each getting 4. The quickest pin of the season was made by Scott Donaldson who pinned his opponent in 30 seconds. I 87
