Coug 's defense takes down Shelton 's offense. 100 a .im The 1980 J. V. Football team at Capital showed good growth in the develop- ment of underclassmen for next year's varsity team. The young Cougs expressed a lot of spirit, determination, and sound fundamental developments in their games and in prac- tice. The most improved player was Jon Nickerson who had an excellent season and will be a real contender next season. The most inspira- tional player was Arne Jen- sen who led the young Cougs on defense.
