Csilla helps Steve put on the finishing touches. 6. Barb Nixon, school store bookkeeper, trains Jr. D.E.C.A. member, Dorothy Hepburn. 7. Cindy Kaufman and other D.E.C.A. members skate to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. D.E.C.A. : Distributive Education Clubs of America. As a leadership activity of the Senior Distributive Education class, the group strives to work together to produce a product, distrib- ute it and then learn from the experience. Among various activities, this year s members ran a local Christmas tree stand held a gasoline raffle participated in a skatathon to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House, cooperated with other local D.E.C.A. chapters in running the Capital Mall Gift Wra ping booth, increased their trophies in the local area conference, acted as concessionaire for tliie Thurston Mason Search and Rescue Vaudeville Show, used their fash- ion merchandising skills in presenting a Spring Fashion Show and, of course, ran the school store. All in all, it was quite a year.
