156 , Girls Varsit Basketball The Lady Cougs ended their basketball season tied with Tu mwater and Aberdeen for the Black Hills conference championship with a 17-3 record. In the AAA playoffs they beat Columbia River easily then lost a heart breaker 42-40 decision to Evergreen of Van. Senior Maria Schade led the Cougs with a 10 point average. Juniors Diane Carlson and Val Johnson each averaged 9 points a game.
